JB Domestics was originally started by Jerry Baldwin in 2010 and built a reputation for a reliable service covering large parts of Essex.
In 2023, myself Ian Munt, and my son Matthew joined Jerry and his team, by 2025, my daughter Amy also joined to work in the office. Jerry decided to take retirement in 2025 and passed the name and large customer base over to myself.
Due to changes in the industry and the insurance sector we worked in, the company was reduced in size and restructured into a new direction.
In June 2025, JB Domestics became a completely family operated business, with Jerry (the previous owner) acting as an adviser.
We have continued to grow the business and develop new working relationships with like-minded smaller companies like ours, supporting small local businesses and even other appliance repair companies that have the same customer ethos as us.
With a long history in the domestic appliance industry, we offer a wealth of knowledge and genuine honest approach to all our customers, placing good service at the front of everything we do.
